This privacy consent explains how Rose's Nails Londonderry uses information when you request or schedule an appointment with us.
When you request or schedule an appointment, we may collect your name, phone number, requested date and time, selected technician, service details, selected services, optional email address, and any photos you choose to upload.
We use booking information only to review, schedule, confirm, decline, update, cancel, or remind you about appointments with Rose's Nails Londonderry. We do not use booking information for advertising, newsletters, promotions, unrelated marketing, or selling customer lists.
Your phone number may be kept with your appointment record and appointment history so we can contact you about current or future appointments with Rose's Nails Londonderry. This may include appointment-related phone calls or text messages about confirmations, declines, changes, cancellations, earlier or later time options, reminders, and one-time security codes used to access online booking appointments.
If SMS/text messaging is enabled, messages may be sent through Twilio or another third-party SMS provider. SMS/text messages are appointment-related only and are not used for marketing. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile provider. SMS delivery is not guaranteed, and you are still responsible for keeping track of your appointment even if a reminder is not received.
One-time verification codes and secure access sessions expire automatically. Verification codes are not stored in readable form.
Your email address is optional. If you provide an email address through online booking, we use it only for booking-related emails, such as request received, confirmed, declined, unavailable, changed, or cancelled appointment messages. Appointment emails may be sent using Gmail/Google or another email service provider.
Your email address is stored temporarily for booking email delivery. It is not kept in the calendar appointment record. It is deleted after it is no longer needed for booking email delivery, or no later than our temporary retention period.
If you upload photos, they are used only to help us review your requested service and prepare for your appointment. Staff may view the photos to understand your nail condition, inspiration picture, requested design, materials, technique, or service needs.
Photos remain available while an online booking request is awaiting review. Once the request is confirmed, declined, or cancelled by the client through online booking, the photo files and temporary photo link are kept for up to 24 hours and are then deleted or made unavailable. If a request remains pending for longer than 24 hours, the 24-hour deletion period begins only when the request reaches one of these outcomes.
Rose's Nails Londonderry may use trusted service providers to operate the booking system, calendar, hosting, database, cloud functions, file storage, email delivery, internal notifications, and SMS/text delivery. These providers may include Google/Firebase, Gmail or another email provider, and Twilio or another third-party SMS provider.
Some service providers may store or process information outside Alberta or outside Canada. When that happens, your information may be subject to the laws of the place where it is processed.
We keep appointment records and appointment history for salon operations, scheduling, customer service, dispute resolution, security, and legal or business record purposes. We do not maintain a separate marketing customer list from online booking information.
We keep a record of the consent version accepted with an appointment, including the date, source, and purpose of consent. If this privacy consent changes in the future, new booking requests may use a new consent version. We do not treat an old consent version as permission for unrelated new uses.
You may contact Rose's Nails Londonderry to ask about your personal information, request a correction, or ask us to stop future SMS/text reminders where possible. You may tell us in person at the salon, call us, or contact us by email.
If you ask us not to use your phone or email for appointment communication, we may be unable to confirm, manage, update, or remind you about appointments.
